The BRC Food Standard is currently considered an international reference for the qualification of products and brand suppliers. Coinrefri SRL has been certified by BRC since 2016. During these years it has been possible to include all processed species within the certification scope, thus obtaining the maximum degree of compliance.
The standard is based on two key elements: the commitment of the company's management team and a HACCP system (which describes step by step how to manage food safety risks).

CODE SQF EIGHTH EDITION
Since 2014, Coinrefri has been certified in the SQF (Safety Quality Food) code of Safety and Quality for fish and bivalve mollusks, which allows us, unlike BRC, to add the quality seal on the final product packaging.
Certification under the SQF Code supports our branded products, offers benefits to our two certified plants and customers, interprets a buyer's food safety and quality requirements, and provides the solution for companies supplying local and global food markets.
Certification of SQF Systems granted by a certification body authorized by the Safe Quality Food Institute (SQFI) ensures that plant food safety plans have been implemented following the CODEX HACCP method and corresponding regulatory requirements and that the system has been verified and deemed effective in managing food safety.
