Coinrefri, Together Against COVID-19

2020 has been one of the most challenging years in every aspect. Globally, we have been affected by the health crisis caused by the virus COVID-19. In Coinrefri SRL, we have not been unaware of the vicissitudes arising in these months where all commercial activities were paralyzed limited in their operation.

In our company, commitment and solidarity have always identified us. All the staff working in the administrative offices and processing plants represent the necessary strength to operate and reach the whole world with our products. 

The partial shutdown during some months of this year forced most of our staff's lockdown. This required an enormous effort and commitment from our Crisis Committee, integrated by different area managers at a national level, willing to organize and face extraordinary events.

José Ramos, National Chief of Security, together with the crisis committee, led the delivery of food baskets directly to the homes of our employees, disinfection of houses and streets (communities in Paita), purchase of medicines, serological testing for workers and their families, as well as personal protective kits.

Maintaining mood and emotional well-being is critical during these difficult times. That is why, together with Saray Agurto, Social Welfare Assistant, support and follow-up appointments were made online and by telephone to staff experiencing emotional and physical health problems. Also, visits from the nurse to control and take serological tests to those infected.

Solidarity is one of the values that most represent our staff. When they saw the suffering of sick people with the virus, they decided to get together and create visiting and emotional support groups for their colleagues and family members to help them cope more easily.

The strength and energy of our team will always be the key to our goals and achievements. They are the essential thing now and forever.
