The National Fisheries Health Agency - Sanipes has created a new inspection model aimed at all operators in the country's fishing and aquaculture production chain. This model guides and prioritizes the existing risks in the infrastructures and systems for processing fresh frozen resources or products, their nature and complexity at each stage of the production chain.
After optimizing our processes and adequate management, we have received this certification in our Tacna plant with an A classification, equivalent to a high level of compliance due to the risk potential of the products we sell.
Any risk factor within our plant is evaluated in detail to comply with this audit, including facilities, machinery, materials, raw materials, and supplies involved in product manufacturing.
In addition, we conduct staff interviews, take samples and submit other certifications to ensure the traceability of the products.
Juanita Casariego, Head of Quality Assurance at the Tacna plant, explained the main benefits of this certification:
This new auditing model is one of the mechanisms to guarantee that all the products we export comply with the requirements established by the sanitary authorities of the destination countries.
For Coinrefri SRL, receiving this certification represents a new goal achieved as we improve our processes and their certification according to the standards established by our country and to be recognized as a reliable and responsible company.
