Our company needs to guarantee the safety of consumers. Meeting the needs of our customers and complying with all established regulations is necessary for better control of the process within our plants.
By implementing the product traceability system, we are overcoming the challenges of consolidating the activities of our two processing plants and warehousing center, monitoring real-time events.
We obtain data and events based on the cloud with this new system that has been designed to provide information from the entire supply chain network: from the reception of the species, processing to shipment for export. In addition, data collection will allow to serialize products for packaging and facilitate logistics for warehousing.
For Cristian Silva, Head of Process Improvement, the company's creation and implementation of the traceability system was a great challenge: "Centralizing the information from each process and digitizing the data required hard teamwork. It was crucial to involve the quality, production and process improvement departments to implement the system effectively".
By optimizing our processes, the employees involved at each stage are provided with accurate and up-to-date information:
Brenda García, Manager of Integrated Quality Management Systems, highlighted the importance of implementing this new system: "The results of this implementation have greatly helped us to centralize our processes and obtain real-time data. Also, since everything is online, we have met our environmental goal of reducing our paper consumption.
We know that the management of information within our corporation is crucial. All the data provided by the traceability system can be used to make decisions and continuously improve our processes.
